Secret of Escape Update
Hello everyone! It’s time to fill you in on the new and changed things in Secret of Escape! I’m also adding this post on the indieDB page so readers can find out there as well, but continue here to get a taste of what’s to come.
My first LAUNCH Conference
So for those who don’t follow me on Facebook or Twitter, I was at the LAUNCH Studio Showcase. It took place at the Innovation Birmingham Campus, near Aston University, and it had indie game developers from around the Midlands. It was the first time I attended one of these indie game developer meetups, aside from expos and the Windows Game Ambassador meetups, and such would be a good opportunity to meet some other indie developers, as well as a chance to show off my work.
After Midsummer Jam Week
As of writing, it has been a week since Secret of Escape was submitted to the Midsummer Jam Week, as well as the trailer shown online. I think it is best to let you know what I have been up to in regards to the game.
Gamepopper on IndieDB!
Yes, that is correct! Gamepopper is officially listed as a company on IndieDB! Meaning I have one of these:
At the moment there is not much content on there, but I will slowly add more things to there. I’ve also put up Secret of Escape on there as well, which you can access here:
Obviously, they either have no rank or a very low rank. This is why I want you and your friends to try and see how high we can get these rankings! So spread the word!!

Developer’s Accomplice is a great website to hear about some of the latest games from big names and indie companies.
They write game reviews and news article, and they have covered indie games such as Secret of Escape!

Midsummer Jam Week in Review
So the Midsummer Jam Week is over, and my entry (Secret of Escape) is now online, now with its own page on the site and a video trailer!
Let me say I had a great time on this jam, especially posting my progress along the way. If I get enough of a good reception, I will continue work on it to make it bigger and better!
