Hey everyone! Just thought I’d like to give a shoutout to all those who have been supporting me and following me on all my channels, you have no idea how much it all means to me. This also includes those who write about my stuff or make videos, I’m really thankful for the amount of effort some of you people have in showing your interest of my work.
Don’t forget that if you want to do any writeups or videos of my games, feel free to do so and send them my way. Now onto the main part of this post, the Global Games Jam!
For those who don’t know, Global Games Jam is a 48 hour event where anyone that can make games (students, hobbyists, indie games developers and industry games developers ect) to make games. Not to mention it is the largest games jam in the entire world, with over 12000 participants from 63 countries last year, and I was one of them. Like last year, I’m taking part at the Stafford site, in the Staffordshire University Campus, which as of writing is not only the largest UK site by size, but also the 5th Largest site in the world, beating Paris, Vancouver and New York!
Check out the timelapse from last year’s event, see if you can spot me (big hint, I’m near the middle of the video with my back turned):
I’ll also be part of a pre-made team this time around, called Team Skyrail. The jam doesn’t start until this Friday (24th Jan), but during this weekend keep an eye on Twitter and Facebook as I’ll be doing most of my updates there. If any of you are also going, you might be able to see me, along with around 240 other attendees.
Hope all of you have a good week!
