This here in an updated version of my Game of Life code from last year. It improved on the interface to implement mouse and touch controls, as well as have a customizable grid for varying window sizes. Since the news that XNA support will be dropped next year, I’ve been looking into MonoGame with it’s more open source capabilities and the public interest as the “next big thing for XNA”. It’s surprisingly easy to adapt to and the ability to port it to multiple platforms is an added bonus!
